Catalogue Central’s green catalogues and e-Mission program
Catalogue Central is proud to be an environmentally friendly alternative to paper
catalogues and we’re passionate about providing you with the latest catalogues online
to ensure we all play a part in reducing our environmental impact.
We are dedicated to finding new ways to help the environment. One way we do this
is through our e-Mission program, where we work with elementree to plant one tree
for every time a new member signs up to Catalogue Central.
We also work with Carbon Planet to ensure our organisation is completely carbon
neutral by purchasing carbon credits.
So how do you help the environment by reading catalogues on Catalogue Central instead
of print catalogues?
- An estimated 8 billion catalogues are distributed annually within Australia
- Each household receives up to 40kg of paper catalogues each year - that's the weight
of 2 bags of cement!
- To reach six million households, as much as 21 million litres of water could be
used!
